Except as described in this Privacy Policy or on the Site, The Fractional Match will not sell or share your personally identifiable information with unrelated third parties without your consent. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Services (such as cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payment processors) under written agreements requiring them to safeguard your information. We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Fractional Match, our members, or others. If we are involved in a sale, acquisition, merger, reorganization, financing, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Information Visible to Other Members

The Fractional Match is, at its core, a professional matching platform. Profile fields you choose to fill in — such as your name, headline, photo, background, skills, credentials, location, and availability — are visible to other authenticated members of the community and may appear in search and discovery results. Do not share information in your profile that you do not want other members to see.

5. Links to Other Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not operate. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of every site you visit.

6. Security

We employ commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access to, loss of, or misuse of personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we will delete or anonymize it.

8. Privacy of Children

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly delete that information.

10. “Do Not Track” Disclosures

We do not currently track our visitors across third-party websites and therefore do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. Third parties that operate content on the Site may, however, track you when you use the Site.

11. Application of U.S. Laws

The Site is hosted and operated in the United States. Personal information that you submit is collected, processed, and stored in the United States, where data protection regulations may differ from those of your country of residence. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

12. Publicly Disclosed Information

This Privacy Policy does not cover information that you publicly disclose in community feeds, comments, or messages with other members. Be aware that any information you share publicly on the Site can be collected and used by anyone who can access it.
